Beer Label Brand Design
Client: Confidential. Brief: Designers were asked to create a brand identity for this new organic ale to compete with its more established competitors. Solution: Graphic designers use brown and orange tones to compliment the rich honey hues of the ale and of course the 'Ginger' Squirrel.The faded out illustration printed on uncoated paper to contrast with the shiny bottle gives the impression of being aged, supporting that it's brewed longer for a fuller flavour.

Branding and Wine Label Design
Client: Confidential. Brief: Design a bottle label to sit between the everyday and speciality wines. Solution: Graphic designers made the centre piece of the new design the unusual graphic, foil blocked to sit simply on a field of colour. The design pulled influence from modern Italian art and the new packaging design with its extreme simplicity makes this wine stand out in a crowded marketplace.
Bordeaux
Wine Label Design
Client: Confidential. Brief: Designers were asked to give this Supermarket brand a more premium and exclusive brand image to justify its higher price. Solution: The focus was to communicate the quality of the wine within. An ornate and very classical border together with the majestic crest in gold foil gives this Bordeaux a 'Superior' brand image. The rich burgundy colour of the type draws on the berry wine flavour while the gothic font conveys regal connotations.

Paua Wines
Label Design and Branding
Client: Paua Vineyards. Brief: With so many brands on the wine shelves Flipflop Design were commissioned to design an eye catching label to stand out from the crowd. Solution: Focusing on the origin of the grape, Marlborough, imagery synonymous with this area was selected by the design team. The beautiful Paua Shell, with it's striking iridescent colours is iconic in New Zealand. Typography is in a vertical format laid out with varying weights and colour to help the consumer.
